Shandong Power Industry and Trade Co., Ltd. is a large heavy industry enterprise specializing in the research and production of ship anchor chains, ocean mooring chains, steel plate welded anchors, and mooring buoys. The company has established three major production bases in Suqian, Taixing, and Qingdao. In 2022, the company's ship anchor chain sales increased by 62% year-on-year, ranking second in the world in ship anchor chain sales.
As of December 2022, the total number of employees in the company is nearly 400, with a technical team of 36 people consisting of research level senior engineers, senior engineers, and researchers, and a quality control team of 25 people.
We are a leading global one-stop supplier of ship and offshore mooring system solutions. For many years, we have been deeply involved in the anchor chain industry and have independently developed and produced products including ship anchor chains and marine mooring chains with chain diameters ranging from 22MM to 200mm. We also produce mooring products such as welded steel plate anchors and steel mooring buoys. As of the end of 2021, our products have obtained certifications from 10 international classification societies, including DNV-GL, ABS, BV, CCS, KR, LR, NK, RINA, and RMRS, as well as ISO9001 quality management system certification, ISO14001 environmental management system certification, and 18001 occupational health and safety management system certification.
The three major production bases currently operate 25 anchor chain production lines, making them the first manufacturer in the industry to achieve full automation of core production and testing equipment, including fully automatic feeding equipment, fully automatic temperature controlled continuous quenching and tempering furnaces, fully automatic anchor chain welding equipment, fully automatic tensile testing equipment, etc., with strong production and testing capabilities. The annual production capacity of anchor chains and other chains reaches 500000 tons, of which the annual production capacity of ship anchor chains and ocean mooring chains reaches 400000 tons, and 66.8% of the products are exported to countries around the world. We serve clients in over 60 countries and regions worldwide, including major shipyards under China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation, China Merchants Heavy Industries, COSCO Shipping, as well as end customers such as Petrobras, Maersk Line, Mediterranean Shipping, COSCO Shipping, CMA CGM, Evergreen Marine, Taiping Shipping, and Hyundai Merchant Marine.
